Ordering School Dinners
School meals are ordered by the children in their classroom each morning. All payments must now be made using the online payment system ParentPay. For more details please see the ParentPay page on this website or contact the school office for more details.
Families of children and young people in full-time education at any school maintained by Leicestershire County Council may be entitled to claim free school meals, providing they receive a qualifying benefit. Please follow the link below for more information and an application form.
Currently all Infant children are eligible for Universal Free School Meals. School meals are ordered by the children in class each morning but no payment is required. However it is still important for parents to register their child’s eligibility for free school meals if they are in receipt of a qualifying benefit. This will ensure the school will be in a position to obtain further funding from central government to provide additional support to your child. This funding is also referred to as Pupil Premium.
The easiest and quickest way to check your eligibility and register is to contact LTS Catering Services (see contact details below).
The application form is available here. Send your completed application to the address at the end of the form.
If you have further questions, please contact LTS Catering Services on 0116 305 5000 or email FreeSchoolmeals@leics.gov.uk
The milk scheme is managed by a company called ‘COOL MILK’. School milk is free for all children under 5 and/or registered for free school meals and is subsidised for other pupils at around £15 a term. You can register your child at www.coolmilk.com
