Pupil Premium & Covid 19 catchup

Pupil Premium and Covid 19 Catch-Up
Pupil Premium
The Pupil Premium grant is an allocation of additional funding provided to schools to support specific groups of children who are vulnerable to possible under-achievement. These include pupils who are entitled to free school meals or who have been at some point in the last 6 years; those looked after by the Local Authority and children of Armed Services personnel.
The government believes that allocating the Pupil Premium grant is the best way to ensure that funding to tackle disadvantage reaches the pupils who need it most. It is up to schools to decide how the pupil premium is spent.
All schools are required to report the amount of funding received and how this is being used. Once information is available, the impact of the funding should also be reported. Badgerbrook's Pupil Premium Statement is available from the links on this page.
