Website policy
Every local-authority-maintained school must publish specific information on its website to comply with the School Information (England) Regulations (2008), as amended by The School Information (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2012 and 2016 and other relevant legislation including the Equality Act 2010: advice for schools and the Children and Families Act 2014
There are a number of other reasons why a school should have a website; as a source of information to parents and friends of the school, to celebrate the success of our pupils as they grow and learn within the school community and as a resource for extended learning for the child and his or her parents if they wish to extend their work at home.
The website is professionally run and hosted by teachers and learning support staff meeting all the government guidelines for websites fully. Images of children will be used (with parental consent) in the celebration of success and as purposeful illustrations of the curriculum in action. No image of a child will appear with name or other personal or identifiable details.
