About Badgerbrook
Badgerbrook is a very popular primary school with a reputation for high standards of behaviour and achievement. We strive to create a special place where all children, parents, governors and staff feel valued and respected and work together within a happy, friendly and caring learning community. We promote a whole school ethos of ‘No Outsiders at Badgerbrook’. The school is a place where everyone is welcome and all difference is celebrated. Our aim is that our children leave primary school happy and excited about living in a world full of difference and diversity, whether that difference is through ethnicity, gender, ability, age, sexual orientation or religion. We want everyone to enjoy coming to our school!

The school opened in 1992 with just 72 pupils. We currently have almost 420 pupils aged from 4 to 11, with 2 classes in each year group, an enthusiastic and hardworking staff and a committed governing body. We were judged Outstanding by Ofsted in 2011.
We are part of the Thomas Estley Teaching School Alliance (TELA) and work closely with a range of schools across South Leicestershire. Working with TELA and The University of Leicester we offer training opportunities for student teachers. We also work with North Warwickshire & South Leicestershire College and Leicester College to provide classroom placements for their students.
We are in the process of setting up a new PTA to organise a range of fund-raising and social events. Any parent, grandparent, friend of the school will be welcome to join.
We hope that you find your visit to our website helpful, and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school direct with any queries you may have.
